You don't expect to find a view like this with a three-bedroom condo. Unit 3C at Salt Marsh Cove looks straight across a Lowcountry marsh and salt creek, framed by live oaks, and that setting follows you through much of the condo. You see it from the living and dining areas, the screened porch, one of the secondary bedrooms and the upstairs primary suite and private balcony. And the view is only part of what makes this little Pawleys Island community such a surprise. This unit offers 1,530 heated square feet with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. The main level has an easy, open flow between the living room, dining area and kitchen, while still giving each space some definition. Large windows put the marsh front and center in the living room, and the dining area opens directly to the screened porch. The kitchen has white cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless appliances and a breakfast bar, while the laundry area just off the kitchen doubles as a walk-in pantry with additional storage. All three bedrooms are upstairs. The primary bedroom is generously sized and opens to a private balcony overlooking the marsh and salt creek. Its ensuite bath was renovated in 2023 with a large tiled walk-in shower, bench and glass enclosure. One of the secondary bedrooms also enjoys the marsh view. The hall bath was remodeled in 2025, when new carpet was added to the two secondary bedrooms. There have been meaningful updates here, too. In addition to the primary bath renovation, 2023 improvements included LVP flooring in the living areas, kitchen cabinetry, range, dishwasher and refrigerator, water heater and replacement of the HVAC outdoor components. Salt Marsh Cove packs quite a bit into a relatively small community. Amenities include a pool and clubhouse, picnic area, playground, kayak and boat storage, plus a newly built community dock extending across the marsh to the creek. The covered sitting area and floating dock provide a spot for fishing and crabbing or launching a kayak or paddleboard. The HOA is also completing an exterior improvement project in phases throughout the community, with siding, windows and doors being replaced as needed and no special assessment for the project. Screened porches and storm doors remain the individual owner's responsibility. It is another sign that Salt Marsh Cove continues to be cared for and improved. Short-term rentals are not permitted at Salt Marsh Cove; long-term rentals are allowed. That makes 3C an option whether you're looking for a full-time home, a Pawleys Island getaway or a property to hold as a longer-term rental. Salt Marsh Cove is directly across from the YMCA, minutes from South Litchfield Beach and convenient to the shops, restaurants and everyday necessities along the Highway 17 corridor. Three bedrooms, thoughtful updates, a surprisingly full amenity package and that marsh view - 3C has a whole lot going for it.
